CELEBRATE MOM THIS YEAR WITH A MOMMY & ME PORTRAIT SESSION

Motherhood is the purest form of love. It is the most beautiful, miraculous, incredible journey. The bond between a mother and a child is unlike any other. One that can be beautifully captured with a camera. As moms we are often the ones behind the lens, taking photos of our precious babies. These short photo opportunities are meant to change things up and put mom in the photos with her children. Its time to get in front of the lens & be part of the memory making.  Portraits to be cherished by the littles in years to come.

I love that Mommy and Me* portrait photography is short, intimate and sweet with very little fuss. These sessions don’t take very long and will free up your schedule to spend more quality time together. These sessions provide a space where those natural interactions and emotions can play out, resulting in a mini time capsule of your current relationship.  You might even want to make this an annual tradition so that you can beautifully document the relationship with your children.

Mother’s Day is coming up, and there is no better way to celebrate MAMA than getting photos of her with her babies! If you’re looking for a great gift for all the mothers in your life, here’s your opportunity! 

This year, sessions are being held at my Edmonton-based studio. We will have hugs, snuggles, tickles, and all things sweet. The setup will be relaxed, so mama and kiddos will be the star of the show, and instead of heavily posed photos, I will prompt you guys to have fun, and connect with each other. I have a beautiful Boho-inspired set for the 2021 season, that lends itself perfectly for capturing casual, carefree and cozy portraits.

*For these sessions, I do request that only mom and children are present. This prevents distraction and allows us to make the most of our time together, focused on your connections. Want to include your partner, pets, or other family members? A FAMILY SESSION is what you are looking for! 

Additional images are available to purchase from an Online Gallery provided after your session. Prices for images are $50 each, 3 for $100 or Full Gallery Add-On for $200. Prints and Products are also available.

COVID19 Update: At Ladybird Photography I take the current situation with COVID-19 seriously! I sanitize the studio before and after each session, as well as supply hand sanitizer, sanitizing wipes, etc during sessions.  As always, if anyone in your family is unwell (fever, cough, etc) within 72 hours of your session date PLEASE let me know and we will reschedule your session for when you are recovered. That being said, if I end up with any symptoms of illness before scheduled Mother’s Day Mini sessions, I will reach out to families to reschedule.

In recognition of the need to be flexible with how quickly things can change with our current COVID19 situation, I will not be collecting payment for Mommy & Me Minis until AFTER they occur. I don’t want any clients coming in sick.  If you end up feeling unwell, or need to cancel your appointment for any reason, just shoot me an email!

HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR MUMMY & ME SESSION:

Please come with hair and makeup already done. If you have long hair, please curl it, if possible

For this 2021 Studio Setup think casual, comfortable, flowy wardrobe. I want you confident in your clothing, and relaxed and ready to show off what an incredible Momma you are! Have your children dressed in colours that coordinate with you style. Please avoid clothing which can distract from the subject, such as logos and cartoon characters. We want the kiddos to shine too!
